The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals explained that animals can suffer from increased heart rates when temperatures soar inside a hot car.
Furthermore, homeowners should limit outdoor activities or daily walks as heat exposure could lead to heat stress. Outdoor activities are not also advisable.
