According to USA Today and NBC News, authorities discovered the inhumane conditions of dogs in an animal rescue shelter in Ohio.

The Butler County Sheriff's Office looked into the situation of the dogs inside the animal rescue.

The report noted about 30 dead dogs in five freezers and refrigerators, which some were not working.

Authorities also discovered at least 25 dogs in an area without proper ventilation, while some animals were in poor conditions with feces and urine.

Authorities are now investigating for possible animal neglect or cruelty.

Meanwhile, the press release from the sheriff's office showed that they saved 90 living dogs from the animal rescue.

    Overcrowded animal shelters

Recently, NBC News Bay Area reported that the animal shelters in parts of Bay Area experienced overcrowding due to a shortage of animal housing and highlighted the importance of animal adoption to help the animals and rescue facilities.

Adopting animals can have a helpful contribution to shelters to accommodate more stranded and abandoned animals.

To encourage people to adopt, animal shelters have already waived the fees, plus aimals in shelters are generally well-taken care and microchipped.

They can also help the adopter to get along with the animals.

In Kansas City, Fox 4 Kansas reported that animal shelters reported overcrowding. The recent report noted the maximum capacity in four shelters in the city.

Recently, Nature World News (NWN) and Fox 29 News also reported that over 170 animals were rescued in a Pennsylvania house after the owner passed away.

In the report, authorities rescued birds, cats, dogs and chickens from the house.

The animals are expected to check for their health conditions and possible adoption.

Meanwhile, in Florida, ABC7 reported that people who adopted an older dog in Boward County would receive free dog food for life, encouraging people to have in their family an old dog.

Why adopting animals can become helpful

As some animal shelters in the U.S. experience overcrowding due to the influx of animals, adopting them can become a lifesaver.

Inside the shelters, animals are fully vaccinated and monitored before adoption. They give a new life to animals that were neglected or abandoned.

Homeowners could ask for advice from their animal shelters for the ideal dog inside their homes.

Before adopting, it is best that homeowners should communicate with their family members for the long-term arrangement. They should also check if their family members could become allergic to specific animals.
