Residents were shocked after witnessing two teenagers attacking roaming ducks with a pole at the Blakes Lake Reserve in Northern Adelaide.
The place is well-known for families, where ducks freely roam the area. The ducks have been a happy attraction for young children.
However, midnight at the Blakes Lake Reserve became a center of attention for residents after teenagers were filmed playing with the ducks.
According to news.com.au and Daily Mail, security cameras managed to film the disturbing video of the attack at the Northern Adelaide at 11:40 p.m, wherein the defenseless ducks became the target of the two teenagers.
One witness from the local area, Sheree, told the Advertiser she heard the incident.
The police noted that they were informed about the incident. However, the information about the people involved had minimal description. So, the police encouraged people with information to report to them.
The witness explained that the duo used a pole to spear the ducks, adding that one tried to use a scooter to run over them.
Furthermore, the report said the boys walked away from the lake and ducks before the local tried to stop them.
Animals rescued in Pennsylvania home in the USA
The latest report said 170 animals were rescued from a Pennsylvania home, including chickens, cats, dogs and birds, according to 6 ABC News and Fox 29 Philadelphia.
Authorities are expected to check animals' health and possible adoption.
The rescue operations occurred after a person passed away in the said home. Immediately, the Pennsylvania SPCA's Animal Law Enforcement team responded to the call to rescue the animals.
Moreover, the authorities rescued guinea pigs, doves, rabbits, parakeets and finches. They are immediately brought to organizations in Chester Counties, Philadelphia and Lancaster.
The report noted that a large group of dogs were said to be living in a lack of sanitary conditions.
