Wet Conditions and Low Visibility Expected in the Eastern US as Storm Unloads More Rain

The recent weather forecast said that portions of the Eastern United States could expect heavy rain, resulting in wet conditions and low visibility.

The weather on East Coast could expect soggy weather as people there anticipated the New Year's celebration and Holiday. Many residents rushed to stores and supermarkets in preparation for the much-awaited event.

Recently, the weather became challenging for many motorists aiming to travel around the country, with significant travel disruptions and flight cancellations. The disappointment of travel delays has been the main concern of many Americans who wanted to travel this week.

The major winter began to wane, and some portions of the country expect a rapid warmup from the cold weather. However, the warmup could be helpful for many people to enjoy an outdoor New Year travel.

Residents on the East Coast should keep updated with the weather. Bringing a poncho, umbrella, or raincoat protection would be the best, especially if rain could unload until the weekend.

Wet conditions and heavy rain

According to AccuWeather's latest forecast, the report revealed that a storm in the East could unleash heavy rain, causing wet roads and reduced road visibility, which can be challenging for many commuters and motorists.

AccuWeather added that the weather could unload moist air and rain with potential thunderstorms starting Friday until Saturday. The forecast said that weather conditions could be expected in Little Rock, Nashville, Atlanta, Montgomery, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Atlanta and Raleigh.

Residents and motorists thinking of enjoying an outdoor activity or traveling this weekend should monitor the weather conditions, causing wet conditions on most roads.

The AccuWeather forecast noted that the rainy weather could result in street flooding, dense fog and travel delays. Starting Saturday to Saturday night, the forecast warned that rain with thunderstorms could be expected in Nashville, Columbus, Buffalo, New York, Washington D.C and Tallahassee.

Travel Delays

As 2023 comes near, it is expected that more Americans will travel on roads. The forecast added that the travel delays and slowed commutes could unload in Atlanta, Charlotte, Interstate 10, 20, 4 and 55. Heavy rain could also occur on Interstate I-95.

Moreover, the wet weather could be problematic for many motorists. Residents in the Northeast could expect heavy rainfall starting Saturday night until Saturday morning.

On Saturday evening, with many prepared for 2023, the forecast said that wet conditions could persist. Rain and significant fog could unfold in Cincinnati, Pittsburg, Washington D.C, New York, Syracuse, Boston, Bangor, Montreal and Toronto.

AccuWeather added that flight delays could be possible. The weather agencies suggested that travelers via plane should monitor their flight details this coming weekend as the weather could result in foggy weather and reduced visibility.

The report said that travelers should observe the weather conditions, especially in Ohio, Michigan, New York City, Detroit, Boston, Pittsburg, Philadephia and Washington D.C.

On Sunday, the AccuWeather forecast said that the storm could weaken. Slightly cooler weather is expected in Toronto, Detroit, Pittsburg and Cincinnati. On the other hand, mild weather conditions could occur in Washington, D.C. and Boston.
