Phytoplankton and NASA: Agency Captures Rare Biology Photo in Fall
Using a special imaging radiometer suite, NASA was able to capture an image not usually photographed well in fall--phytoplankton, the microscopic organisms that power carbon cycling in the ocean. The result shows the link between ocean physics and biology.
