Eel: Slipping By The Endangered Species List This Time, Says FWS [VIDEO]
American eels have a fascinating story: They live their lives in freshwater, but start out in the Sargasso Sea in the North Atlantic, and return there to spawn. Considering that they go there from Venezuela, Greenland and in between, their trek is right up there with salmons'. FWS talks about the continued efforts to build habitats and improve routes.
