Study Shows That 'Eco' Wood Stoves Releases Much More Pollution Than an HGV
A report revealed that a new wood burning stove described as more friendly to the environment still releases 750 times more minute particle pollution compared to a modern HGV truck. From the beginning of 2022 in the UK and EU, the only stoves that can be legally sold are those that meet the ecodesign standard, but experts said the standard was surprisingly weak.
