Rate of Coral Skeleton Formation Affects Ability to Withstand Ocean Acidification

Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have discovered a correlation between ocean acidification and the deterioration of coral skeleton. It has been established that coral species making up these reefs are vulnerable or resistant to ocean acidification. But researchers don't know why.
