EU to Ban Importation of Coffee and Beef with the Aim of Controlling Deforestation

Raft of goods would be outlawed under preliminary law to safeguard the world's threatened forests. Under legal plans attempting to help curb the felling of great forests in the world, beef, palm oil, cocoa, and other items connected to deforestation would be prohibited from entering the European Union.
