Ivermectin Banned by Australia’s Drug Regulator as Treatment for COVID-19

The anti-parasitic medication 'ivermectin' has been banned from being used for "off-label" purposes, such as treating Covid-19, by Australia's Drug Regulator. Prescriptions for the medication have climbed three to four times in Australia in recent months, prompting the move.
