'Dragon Robber' Unearthed In South Wales Represents One Of the Earliest Jurassic Dinosaurs
A new species of dinosaur thought to be the oldest Jurassic dinosaur ever found in the U.K. was named Dracoraptor hanigani or “dragon robber." Researchers say this find is remarkably valuable, as it sheds light on the diversification of dinosaurs in the early Jurassic – a period that remains rather hazy to paleontologists.
