Southeast Alaska Wolves Denied 'Endangered' Listing
Southeast Alaska's Alexander Archipelago wolf was recently denied protection under the Endangered Species Act. Although populations on the Prince of Wales Island have drastically declined, the U.S. Fish and WIldlife Service said the animals don't qualify for additional federal protection.
