Rare Wood Turtles: Homeowner Rescues Eggs During Backyard Renovation In Nova Scotia
Rare wood turtle eggs were recently unearthed during a backyard renovation in Nova Scotia. Thanks to the homeowner's care, the eggs were able to fully develop, and the hatchlings have made it safely to the nearest pond where they will hibernate through winter.
