Sea Turtles in North Carolina: Cold and Getting a Lift to Florida
While sea turtles get cold-stranded each year on North Carolina beaches, the number suffering from that particular delay this year was higher than usual. Scientists tag-team transported the turtles across several states to get them into warmer waters.
