Through Thursday, areas with warmer and drier outlooks can unload in Detroit, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Charleston, Washington, New York, Albany, Boston, Albay, and Burlington.

The weather will be favorable for outdoor plans, but commuters should still avoid prolonged exposure to heat this week. In New York, the latest advisory monitors the development of high pressure in the region, which could bring a mostly dry outlook. Temperatures can reach the mid-to-high 70s. In the west of NYC, there is still a chance of isolated afternoon showers.

In the late week, homeowners should watch out for surging heat and humidity, particularly on Friday. According to forecasts, hotter temperatures can occur in New York, Charleston, Virginia Beach, and Knoxville. Meanwhile, a less humid outlook can unload in Ottawa, Cleveland, Toronto, and Sudbury.

In Boston, the forecast advised residents that summer heat and humidity are coming into the region, with temperatures to reach 90 degrees on Thursday or Friday. On Wednesday, residents can anticipate pleasant weather and a chance of spot showers, and on Friday, potential scattered showers and thunderstorms can occur.

On the weekend, the scorching heat can unload in El Paso, Dallas, and Houston.
