Limiting outdoor plans is advisable, especially when travel is not important. The heavy snow can lead to slippery commutes, foggy conditions, and snow-covered roads. Road closures are also likely due to the weather.

The weather report shows that the snow will continue on Friday. Residents in the Green, White Mountains, and Adirondacks should experience additional snowfall totals reaching six to 12 inches.
