The severe rainfall damaged at least 1000 buildings, including schools and houses. 13 people were reported injured.

In the latest weather in Myanmar, AFP reported that the monsoon flood and heavy rain impacted parts of the country, causing immediate evacuations of 40,000 people. Five people were reportedly dead due to the weather.

The rapid rise of water in Bago located in the Northeast of Yangon caused people to immediately evacuate from flood threats. Meanwhile affected people sought shelter in the monastery.

Parts of the Mon and Kayin states were also affected. The government said that they would provide temporary shelters for the affected residents after flooding flooded their homes.

The rainy conditions and flooding were also recorded in July in portions of Thailand, especially in Chin, Raikhhine, Karen, and Chin areas.

On the other hand, the monsoon flooding and heavy rain displaced at least 60,000 people in the country since mid-July. It can become challenging for people, especially if they are near flood-prone areas or rivers.

From the 60,000 people, the report added that about 40,000 are still in shelters, including schools and monasteries. Some businesses and schools were also temporarily closed due to the heavy rain conditions in Myanmar.

Japan is likely to experience rainy conditions

On the other hand, the weather forecast said that windy conditions and rain could be possible in portions of Japan. The forecast said that Typhoon Lan could likely unload heavy rain next week in south-Central Honshu and Southern Hokkaido.

Forecasts explained that the stormy conditions would possibly strengthen, bringing rough sea conditions and travel delays. People with travel plans next week should observe the weather outlook before leaving their houses.

 Recently, Tropical Storm Khanun unleashed heavy rain and damaging winds in Southwestern Japan. Services in the airline and train were also suspended due to the severe weather conditions.
