The supermoon event is expected on the following dates in August:

The Associated Press (AP) and Sky News reports said the moon event would have a closer view of Earth, which could show 30% brighter and 14% bigger this August.

The report said that the August 30 super moon would have a distance of 357,344km, which is also deemed as a Blue Moon.

The AP reported that the last supermoon event that unfolded in the same month happened in 2018.
