Based on the weather outlook, flood risks could be possible in Sault Ste. Marie, Quebec, Montreal, Portland, Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh, New York, Chicago, Columbus, Charleston and Washington.
Meanwhile, the NWS New York NY advisory noted possible thunderstorms and showers this Friday.
The weekend is predicted to be drier.
People with outdoor activities and travel plans should consider bringing an umbrella this week or raincoat protection due to the chances of rain.
In AccuWeather's forecast, July recorded the wettest and most rainy conditions this year in New York, Massachusettes, Albany and Worcester.
Furthermore, the weather advisory warned of possible flash flooding this Friday in parts of New Jersey, Northwestern New England, Eastern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania.

According to the report, about 80 million Americans could expect the heat index to reach above 105 degrees.
The forecast warned that the hotter conditions in the Southwestern US could continue until July 28, affecting parts of the Northern Plains.
