The latest weather forecast in New York City showed that Americans could expect a mix of sunny and cloudy skies this week.

Recently, parts of New York City experienced unhealthy air quality levels due to the smoke from Canadian smoke, raising concerns over the health impacts.

Reports also showed that Northeast and NYC recorded dry and warmer temperatures as the summer season is set in the city.

While the smoke could still linger from raging wildfires in Canada, New Yorkers could anticipate that the weather is forecast to become cloudy and sunny this week.

Weather in the New York City

With many Americans preparing for the mid-month, the hazy skies affected their outdoor activities during the first week of June.

Based on the PIX11 forecast, New Yorkers could expect both sunny and cloudy skies on Wednesday. While the weather is not rainy, it is best to bring an umbrella if it rains.

Meanwhile, NWS New NY reported that the summer solstice is forecast on June 21, which could set the beginning of the summer season.

Furthermore, the skies will rebound to a cloudy outlook. Reports showed that there could be a chance of rain.

As cloudy skies unfold on Thursday, New Yorkers could expect cooler temperatures that could help ease the hotter temperatures in the city.

People with travel plans should check the weather, as rainy conditions could lead to travel disruptions or slower commutes.

On Friday, the latest forecast added that cloudy skies would continue reaching 80 high in NYC.

Even if there is a chance of rain, it will immediately abate, or the risk of flooding is low.

On the weekend, the forecast noted that sunny is forecast to return.

Meanwhile, NWS NY added that cooler outlook could still emerge in the city, especially at night.
