One died and others were brought to hospitals after a tour boat capsized in an underground cave in Erie Canal in Upstate New York.
It was supposedly a happy tour for 28 visitors who were aboard the boat when it suddenly flipped over.
According to AccuWeather and CNN reports, the boat was under the operation of the Lockport Cave and the Underground Boat Ride.
When the boat flipped, the report explained that people aboard were thrown into the water.
According to Lockport Fire Chief Luca Quagliano, rescuers found the boat upside down, with the visitors found safely on the top of a capsized boat.
The authorities said they would investigate the incident.
The casualty was identified 60-year-old man who was stuck under when the boat capsized.
The report noted that they rescued 16 people, as the others found their way to safety.
Meanwhile, 11 people were brought to the nearby hospitals as they suffered from injuries.
Furthermore, the report noted that the tour is considered a familiarization tour for the employees.
