Doev Dmitry Vitalievich was born in Leningrad on July 12, 1966. For several years as a child, he lived in Toropets, a small town on the banks of the Toropa River. He liked studying, despite the rather heavy workload. Doev Dmitry also devoted much time to reading. As a child, he loved adventure and detective literature, and later he picked up science fiction.

Dmitry Doev, whose father's biography influenced the choice of Dmitry's profession, received his education as an engineer at the Leningrad Polytechnic University. After graduation, he got a job at a scientific research institute that worked with precision instrumentation. A little later, Dmitry Doev became a teaching assistant at his native university. After several years of teaching, the future specialist changed direction and entered the business world.

Doev Dmitry Vitalievich: Entering the Business World

During the collapse of the USSR, like many young people, Dmitry Doev also decided to go into business. The specialist's life course changed dramatically due to the economic transformations in Russia in the 1990s. Instead of scientific or teaching activities, he began to try himself in the construction and investment businesses. But he achieved great success when he combined his engineering knowledge and commercial abilities - he organized a company that supplied high-tech equipment for the oil and gas industry. This work helped the young entrepreneur to acquire important contacts and, most importantly, to achieve recognition as a competent and reliable specialist.

In 2004, Doev Dmitry Vitalievich was invited to head the Centerenergogaz service and repair division in the structure of Gazprom, a Russian gas producer. Gazprom needed to form a single enterprise that would fully maintain all of its production hardware and equipment throughout Russia - from equipment at industrial sites to the gas pipeline system.

As head of the service division, over the following four years, Doev Dmitry integrated various enterprises into a single, vertically managed organization. Mr. Doev modernized the division's technical processes, reformed the management structure, and opened service and maintenance branches nationwide.

Dmitry Doev's management effectiveness and reforming abilities paid off. In 2008, he was appointed to lead a more extensive Gazprom repair holding. Dmitry Doev, whose biography by this time already included successful managerial experience, quickly reorganized the company: he modernized equipment, increased the level of professionalism of employees, and centralized the management. Under the specialist's guidance, the company's personnel mastered the most technically complex types of work - repair of underwater equipment and gas pipelines. Underground storage facilities, critical for the gas industry, now received service at much higher quality.

Doev Dmitry Vitalyevich set the holding's central task: to provide continuous and high-quality after-sales service for the entire technological chain of gas production and supply - from wells to end consumers. Dmitry Doev introduced the most reliable and modern methods for diagnosing the condition of equipment and pipelines in the enterprise's operations.

One of the most interesting achievements of the repair holding during Dmitry Doev's tenure was the solution to the problem of import substitution. The repair holding went from manufacturing only a few of its needed spare parts on an occasional basis to full-fledged, serialized production of a wide range of components and mechanisms. The company also solved its most technically tricky task: it set up its own production line to manufacture engines for gas turbines that pump gas through the main pipelines.

The Dmitry Doev biography: Starting with VIS Group

Dmitry Doev was the head of Gazprom's service and repair enterprise until 2019. During the years 2019-2021, he led several other various organizations. In 2021, he became the General Director of the VIS Group holding. VIS Group specializes in constructing multiple infrastructure projects in different regions of the Russian Federation through developing partnerships with state and regional authorities and local enterprises.

Dmitry Doev was tasked with restructuring the Group. He was also responsible for developing and implementing an optimized management chain and increasing the efficiency of the diversified organizations that made up VIS Group. The overarching goal for Dmitry Doev: The VIS Group must significantly expand its investment horizons.

Under Dmitry Doev, VIS Group has work contracts for the next 24 years, and reputable Russian rating agencies highly regard it as a reliable and stable organization.

Dmitry Doev and VIS Group: a Large Construction Site in the Far East

In 2015, large-scale construction of state education facilities was launched in Yakutia. All work was undertaken by the VIS Group, now led by Dmitry Doev. Under the contract, the VIS Group built and fully prepared twelve buildings for kindergartens, secondary schools and cultural and leisure centers. All these facilities were constructed in Yakutsk.

Doev Dmitry Vitalievich noted that a comprehensive initiative formed thousands of new seats in educational institutions in Yakutsk; the need for this had long been ripe in the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic. The Group fulfilled its project obligations within a few years, handing over fully-completed buildings, themselves fully equipped with everything necessary for the teaching staff: furniture, equipment, and appliances.

The VIS Group is building another cultural project in the capital of the Republic of Sakha. The new home of the State Philharmonic and the Arctic Center for Epic Literature and the Arts is an exceptional undertaking. A building of this size and complexity has never been erected on lands with permafrost subsoil.

Doev Dmitry Vitalievich: Construction of Medical Institutions

Dmitry Doev is sure that the modernization of medical institutions underway in Siberia should become an example for all regions of the Russian Federation. The VIS Group is currently building several outpatient treatment and prevention centers in Yakutia and the Novosibirsk region. The contracts also stipulate that the Group design, construct and complete all buildings with furniture, medical equipment, specialized equipment, and electronics.

Dmitry Doev and VIS Group are in the construction phase of a large modern clinic in the capital of the Republic of Sakha. The estimated throughput of the medical institution is to be six hundred people per shift. The medical center plans to integrate a digital system for processing patient data, which provides online appointments with specialists and even remote consultations. The VIS Group holding company will provide service and support for all equipment for seven years after the polyclinic is commissioned. 

Dmitry Doev: Modernization of the Regional Road Network

Before Dmitry Doev led VIS Group, it had only one Far Eastern project in its assets - the commissioned bypass road around Khabarovsk. The highway was the first facility of such a scale in the region, built through a partnership between the State and a private company. This project also incorporates the latest technological solutions: for example, to create the first high-speed road in the Amur region, cast asphalt concrete was used, which provides increased strength and durability of the road surface. The new highway unloaded the regional center from freight vehicles and other traffic, and it connected several major transport arteries - federal roads and the Khabarovsk airport.

A few years ago, Dmitry Doev and the VIS Group began working on constructing a second infrastructure facility in the region - a modern waste management center ("eco-technopark") for sorting solid waste. The projected capacity of the enterprise is more than 200 million kilograms of waste per year.

Dmitry Doev and VIS Group: roads and bridges

Other notable examples of road infrastructure construction exist in the Group's active projects. For instance, in the Moscow region, the holding is working on the completion of a new highway near the city of Mytishchi, which connects the Yaroslavl and Dmitrov highways without the need to go to the severely overburdened Moscow Ring Road. This is one of the most critical initiatives in the region, according to Dmitry Doev. VIS Group attracted many local enterprises to participate in the construction. They created an extensive supply chain of building materials and structures.

Dmitry Doev considers this project extremely important for the Moscow region. But for Dmitry Doev, VIS Group's bridge crossing over the River Ob' in Novosibirsk is one of the most important projects in the Russian Federation. The Central Novosibirsk Bridge is being erected to create more efficient transport links between the bisected halves of this million-people-plus city. The bridge and its access roads are also logistics links between three federal highways and the Novosibirsk airport, one of the most important transport hubs in the region.

Doev Dmitry: Personal Life

Dmitry Doev is married and has two children. The manager spends as much free time as possible with his family.

Dmitry Doev is known for constantly traveling around the country. He considers Kazan one of the most beautiful cities in Russia. The executive prefers to fill his rest with sports activities, for example, skiing or riding a motorcycle. According to the manager, the main thing he looks for in outdoor activities is speed.

Doev Dmitry is still passionate about reading. His interests have shifted to historical and biographical books, mainly works on generals and military strategy.
