Texas cattle deaths involving suspected cases of mutilations linked to unexplained phenomena have been reported in recent days, sparking a fuel that adds to decades-long of related incidents occurring in different parts of the United States.

One of the latest string of incidents involved the deaths of six cows with their tongues removed but with no indication of blood spill.

Initial investigations into the incident spanning to different Texas counties reportedly suggest there were no physical evidence available yet that would make foul play or human-related killings to be the cause of animal deaths.

In the context of such recurring incidents, various theories have emerged blaming natural predators, human hunters, or even activities that are extraterrestrial by nature.

Texas cattle deaths were reported in the Brazos, Madison, and Robertson counties, according to a video report by FOX 26 Houston on Tuesday, April 26. The media outlet's reporter Matthew Seedorff spoke with some residents of the said counties, with some showing concern of the bizarre Texas cattle mutilations.

The mystery even deepens as the carcasses found in the field are untouched by scavengers or any other animals for a prolonged period after the cows' estimated death date. Despite the available evidence, local authorities are still uncertain on the exact cause or trigger of the Texas cattle mutilations reported earlier this week.

There was no evidence of 'grass disturbance or struggle', blood spill, and evident tracks, according to Brian Moss, from the AAAC wildlife removal, during a video report by local television station KPRC2 based in Houston, Texas. Furthermore, no scavenger birds or predators would eat the remains of the animals for several weeks after their death, Moss adds.

The Mutilation Mystery

As mentioned earlier, similar incidents have been reported in the U.S. even several decades before the renewed cattle mutilations of April 2023.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), reports of scattered animal or cattle mutilations during the mid-1970s in American West and Midwest regions of the U.S. caused a great concern for many people. Due to the ambiguity of the incidents, the FBI attempted to intervene in the investigation of the mysterious cattle deaths.

However, the bureau was unable to complete such task, mainly due to lack of jurisdiction (except when the mutilations occurred on native American Indian lands).

Despite the limitation, the FBI was still able to produce a report which can found until today from its archive records entitled 'The Mutilation Mystery' published in 1976 which said; in the past three years, there were over 1,500 cattle in 22 states that have been killed or mutilated.

The FBI report emphasized that the animals' blood was drained and selected organs were taken from them, attributing suspects ranging from cultists to government researchers. Media reports at that time also said the incidents were linked to UFOs, also known as unidentified flying objects.
