A recent report revealed that authorities finally found the two missing tigers in Georgia's zoo after a tornado outbreak happened, causing damage to the facility where the tigers lived.
The National Weather Service (NWS) recently reported that a tornado watch was issued in parts of the South, especially in Central Alabama.
The report warned of possible isolated tornadoes and damaging wind gusts. In addition, The USA Today reported that the South suffered from isolated tornadoes (Sunday).
Furthermore, the news article noted that tornadoes and storms hit parts of Georgia and damaged communities.
The challenging weather conditions also reported down trees and closed roads.
Two tigers went missing
The USA Today and The Guardian reported that two tigers were reportedly missing after isolated tornadoes emerged in the area.
According to the report, the Wild Animal Safari Pinee Mountain's Facebook post said that two tigers managed to escape from their enclosure due to tornadoes.
The report added that the two missing tigers were found safe and then returned to their enclosure.
Meanwhile, the Guardian reported that the Troup country's sheriff's office said it received the report of the missing tiger.
Furthermore, the report explained that no employees or animals were hurt after the tornado outbreaks.
Recently, NWS reported that thunderstorms and heavy downpours were possible in Southern Louisiana. During the severe weather, flash flooding was also the main concern.
The weather forecast also said that heavy rain could become a problem in the Southeast last week, especially affecting areas in Georgia and Alabama.

Meanwhile, the NWS Sioux Falls reported that isolated severe thunderstorms could likely occur this week in parts of Northwest Iowa.
The weather forecast added that severe weather could be likely in Southwest California, bringing challenging winds and hail.

Meanwhile, the NWS Weather Prediction Center reported that a strong system could likely affect parts of the Plains and Upper Midwest this Friday and Saturday.
On Saturday, the weather forecast noted that a strong storm system could likely affect portions of the Central High Plains on Friday and Great Lakes on Saturday.
The weather advisory said that heavy snow and strong winds could emerge. The wind gusts could reach from 50 to 55 mph.
Furthermore, the weather conditions could possibly result in blizzard conditions, especially in parts of South Dakota and Southwest Minnesota.
Due to the windy conditions and snow, travel hazards are also possible, causing reduced road visibility, slippery travel and slower commutes.
