The latest weather said snow could unload in the Midwest and Northeast this weekend and until early next week as the spring season is near.
In previous forecasts, weather agencies explained that there is still a chance for a winter storm or snowstorm this winter season.
Due to the blast of arctic air, the temperatures are expected to become colder, especially at night.
Possible snow in the Midwest and Northeast
According to AccuWeather's latest forecast (February 18, 2023), the weather agency explained a wintry pattern and colder outlook would unfold in the Northeast and Midwest next week.
Based on the weather outlook, it showed that snow would be noticeable in Denver. Meanwhile, rain would unload in Little Rock, Washington and Chicago.
- Snow potential can also unleash in New York City (NYC), Chicago, Detroit and Boston.
- There is a low chance of snow in Philadelphia.

In New York City, residents experienced the most-awaited measurable snow during the first week of the month.
NYC suffered from snowless streak that reached for about 300 days. The warm and rainy conditions in the state contributed to traces of snow that were unloaded during the winter.
Furthermore, there is a chance that snow could also dump in parts of northern Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and parts of Canada.
As the spring season is in the air, it is expected that sudden or unseasonable warm weather could unfold.
Next week, AccuWeather's outlook showed that mild conditions would occur in El Paso, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, Charlotte, Jacksonville and Miami.
Meanwhile, snow potential would be possible in Medford, Reno, Flagstaff, Denver, Billings, Minneapolis, Chicago and Seattle.
- Snowstorms could bring challenging weather conditions in Seattle, Eugene, Salt Lake City and San Francisco from Monday to Wednesday.
National Weather Service's Forecasts in the United States
On the other hand, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported that a significant winter storm is expected on the West Coast and parts of the United States.
The forecasts noted that heavy snow would dump in parts of the West Coast and Upper Midwest next week.
On Monday, the weather advisory revealed that heavy snow would become problematic in the Northern Rockies and Pacific Northwest.
On Tuesday, NWS added that Central Rockies, Midwest and Sierra Neva would experience more snow.
Due to the snow threats, weather reports said that hazardous travel conditions would be troublesome for motorists. Freezing rain and wetter roads will cause travel difficulties next week.
Motorists and commuters should invest more patience traveling and while on the road as travel delays and travel disruptions.
Meanwhile, NBC News reported that about 13 million Americans are under the risk of poor weather conditions in the United States, especially in the Ohio Valley and Gulf Coast.
Parts of the South would experience heavy rainfall, flooding and isolated tornadoes, including in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee Valley.
Severe thunderstorms and isolated tornadoes can result in a life-threatening situations. Staying updated and safe is essential this week for affected residents.
