Some expert fishermen captured incredible footage while bottom-catching fish out of the Old Bahama Bay Resort in the Bahamas. They were able to catch something that was extraordinary.

A fascinating huge extraordinary fish

The group began by fishing in 600 feet of water with electric eels for yellow eye snappers. They have used squid and barracuda as lures with heavy weights, as per AZ animals.

A yellow eye snapper has been quickly caught. They get such a good look at the distinctive bright yellow eyes and then are told that it's one of the tastiest fish around.

The next fishing trip would travel to a location in which wahoo fish can be found, with the goal of arriving whenever the tide was changing because the outgoing tide is indeed the great time to find such fish.

However, they found that conditions were just too rough due to large waves and a lot of seaweed to catch any wahoo fish, so they moved into shallower water.

Then, they began bottom fishing, which made things much more exciting. They did decide to hook a reef shark using the barracuda as bait. Unexpectedly, something significant appears out of nowhere. It's a massive tiger shark.

At first, the shark is unaware that it has been hooked. When it does, it tries to break free and will not be landed without a fight.

As those who prepare to load the shark onto the boat, the team must put on gloves. This monster is about 15 feet long and 1,000 pounds, but it can grow to 1,400 pounds.

How dangerous can Tiger sharks be?

Tiger sharks are vicious predators known for eating almost anything they can get their hands on. They have indeed been observed eating a variety of fishes and invertebrates, as well as seabirds, sea turtles, some marine mammals, stingrays and other rays, smaller sharks, sea snakes, and scavenged dead animals, as per Oceana.

Several tiger sharks have been observed eating garbage, including metal, plastic, wood, fishing gear, and other debris.

Despite their status as generalist predators, tiger sharks are probable to specialize in some readily available prey in some areas.

Tiger sharks have a grey-brown body streaked with dark vertical stripes, which are clearly noticeable in young adults, whereas juveniles have a silver-colored livery that is spotted as Leopard, as per The Smiling Seahorse.

With age, tasks transform into bars, which then vanish during sexual development. These sharks get their names from their stripes.

People must be aware of where these sharks live

Although the tiger shark is considered to be primarily a coastal species, its geographic range includes all tropical and temperate waters all around the world, requiring some individuals to migrate among island groups.

Experts believe tiger sharks are near threatened with extinction, citing a decrease in their numbers due to targeted and unintentional catches in fisheries.

Their own reputation as a species that bites people makes them a target of population regulate efforts in some areas, a practice that scientists oppose anywhere it occurs.
