In addition, the The Weather Network reported this January 24 that a snowstorm would unload heavy snow in Quebec on Wednesday evening and with the potential to stay until the end of the week.

In the The Weather Network's weather forecast, the outlook reported that snowfall is expected to unload starting Wednesday to Thursday.

  • Snowfall would unleash in Sherbrooke, Montreal, Gatineau, Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Riviere-du Loup, Saint-Georges, Grand Falls, Fredericton, Gaspe and Rimouski.
  • There is also a chance of snow in Sept-Iles, Baie-Comeau, Saguenay, La Tuque and Mont-Laurier.

According to CBC News, Environment Canada said temperatures would become colder with a possible deep freeze on Friday and the weekend.

The cold weather conditions would be challenging for many residents.

On Friday, The Weather Network reported that snow outlook is forecast to unleash in Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec, Sherbrooke, Rimouski, Gaspe and Sept-Iles.

On the other hand, the weather forecast explained that Southern Ontario would receive wintry weather conditions this week.

The challenging weather would bring snow that could disrupt travel plans. On Thursday, the forecast said that Ottawa and Ontario expected heavy snowfall.

The final weekend of January in Southern Ontario and portions of Canada would anticipate more blowing snow.
