  • Rain showers could unload in Washinton, D.C., and Pittsburg.
  • AccuWeather added that wintry weather conditions could unfold in the Interstate 70 corridor and Interstate 80 starting next week.
  • Portions of Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana could expect snow.
  • On Monday, AccuWeather's forecast added that rain could unfold in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Long Island and southeastern Virginia.

Although the snow is expected to be light, it would still cause significant travel delays and slowed commutes. Therefore, commuters and motorists should observe the weather conditions before traveling.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service (NWS) announced that the rounds of heavy rain in portions of California continue this week. The advisory added that the storm unloaded damaging winds, persistent rain and heavy snow.

The advisory warned residents of potential flooding, mudslides and flash floods. In addition, people near the coastal areas should stay alert for river rises.

Weather conditions in the Midwest and Northeast

Although there is no reported severe storm next week, forecasts added that snow could unload in the Midwest and Northeast portions.

On Monday, slushy snow could occur in Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, State College, and Indianapolis. Residents and motorists warned of road hazards due to wet snow conditions.

In New York, the forecast said that potential snow could also unload. Recently, Buffalo City suffered from heavy lake-effect snow, causing significant travel disruptions and safety concerns.

In California, CNN reported that residents could expect more rain and mountain snow next week.

Motorists traveling or planning for outdoor activities should monitor the weather. According to AccuWeather, snow potential would unleash next week in Columbus, Charleston, Bowling Green, Pittsburg, Albany, New York, Boston, Portland, Washington, Boston, and New York.
