As the Christmas season is only days ahead, many Americans could notice the colder weather due to the arctic blasts bringing extremely cold air. According to the latest forecast, the Northeast, Midwest and eastern United States could expect colder weather.
The frigid weather would be associated with the blasts of arctic air bringing colder temperatures this week. The forecast explained that this week recorded freezing temperatures that have become challenging for many families.
Although the colder weather was forecasted, and many Americans looked forward to snow, it is best to anticipate that colder weather could persist until the end of the week as the Winter season unfolds.
Those planning to travel should anticipate the weather due to potential winter storms and heavy snow, causing significant travel disruptions and slowed commutes.
Frigid conditions
On the other hand, the recent AccuWeather report showed that the outbreak of Arctic air would bring colder weather to the United States, especially in portions of the East, South, Rockies and Plains. Meanwhile, parts of the Northeast could also expect colder weather this week.
The AccuWeather forecast added that the coldest arctic air could help unfold the coldest pre-Christmas feeling in portions of the eastern and central United States.

Americans should stay prepared for the colder weather. Experts noted that potential health risks could unleash due to prolonged exposure to colder temperatures, including hypothermia or frostbite.

Based on AccuWeather's outlook showed that residents in the Northeast could expect a blast of cold air starting Friday and Saturday. The forecast said cooler weather could be expected in El Paso, Houston, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Indianapolis, Detroit, Washington D.C, and Charlotte.
However, the forecast explained that the colder weather would not be freezing, unlike in Northern Plains and Rockies. The weather would be right enough for many Americans in the Northeast expecting colder weather this Christmas season.
The forecast added that Americans could expect colder temperatures in Bismarck, Casper, Denver, Kansas City, Memphis, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Boston from Friday to Saturday.
The arctic air helped to reach below-zero colder temperatures in the United States, especially in portions of Montana and North Dakota.
As the weather becomes more freezing, wearing the appropriate layered clothes would help fight the chilly temperatures. The winter guides noted monitoring the temperatures of children or older adults who could be the most vulnerable to the cold.
Furthermore, AccuWeather recently forecasted that the temperature in portions of South Central and Southeastern states could expect colder weather.
The forecast noted that potential cold-to-freezing conditions could unfold in Nashville, Little Rock, Arkansas, Dallas and Atlanta as Americans planned their flights and holiday.
On Thursday, the report said sharply cooler weather occurred in Salt Lake City, Billings, Denver, Fargo, Minneapolis, Kansas City and Dallas.
Furthermore, AccuWeather noted that portions of the Southeast could suffer from crop damage due to the weather, especially when colder air would unleash on Thursday to Friday.
According to the latest forecast, freezing weather in Texas could unload significant damage to crops there.
