The chilly breeze air, snow accumulation, and freezing temperatures only showed one thing: meteorological winter is fast-approaching.
Previous reports said that portions of the United States started to feel the taste of winter, with snowflakes and freezing temperatures in their areas, especially in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and New York.
Meanwhile, residents in the Northwest recorded a record-high to warm temperatures.
Furthermore, forecasts revealed the rollercoaster temperatures from Midwest to the Northeast, showing that winter was predicted to be warmer than the last winter.
Almost three months before Christmas, residents in the eastern part of the U.S began to notice a winterlike feeling, recording snow and subfreezing temperature in the area.
Winter
According to the latest AccuWeather winter update on October 19, 2022, residents in the Plains, Appalachians, and eastern part of the U.S would feel the chilly air, a reminder that meteorological winter is coming and sets to start on December 1, 2022.
While many Americans prepared for the beautiful and scary Halloween, some of the resident's decorations were said to pile up and cover with up to 19 inches of Snow in the Midwest, Upper Peninsula, and Michigan.

Forecasts said that parts of the U.S would experience the earliest snowfall.
There was also a possibility that the cold air of the season would also develop storms in November or before Thanksgiving, forecasts reported.
Residents in the areas with a forecasted early taste of winter should prepare their winter layering clothes and check the status of their home's heating system.
Hypothermia and frostbites are the most common cold-related health issues during winter.
Moreover, the AccuWeather Winter update also said the following reports in many parts of the U.S:
- Chicago would feel the earliest snow. The record showed that the beginning of snowfall in the area experienced 35 to 40 inches of snow.
- The forecast said that the winter snow frequency in the Northeast would be lower than normal from 2022 to 2023.
- The report also indicated that Washington, D.C, would have lower snow this coming winter, predicted to reach six inches to 10 inches of snow.
- Residents in Boston would experience the usual snow, reaching up to 40 to 50 inches of snow. Ohio Valley and Central plains also felt the typical winter season.
- The upper midwest would have potential wintry precipitation.
- Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin, and Minnesota are expected to have a higher chance of snow.
- Parts of Mississippi, especially in the nearby River, would have delayed precipitation due to the drought development in the area.
- Dallas, Arkansas, Oklahoma City, and Little Rock would have abnormal warm temperatures.
Although residents would feel the earliest taste of winter, the forecast said that the temperatures would temporarily rebound to warm temperatures at the end of October in the eastern and central part of the United States.
Areas with freezing temperatures would have a warm feeling offering some relief.

The winter season is in the air. Although forecasts said it would be warmer than the last winter, it would still produce a cold air breeze to freezing temperatures.
