Wisconsin residents will be enjoying a warm summer weather for the next seven days with temperatures playing around 80°F.
Justin Loew, the chief meteorologist for WAOW, announced on Wednesday morning that there won't be any significant heat waves for a while. It will occasionally be a little humid, but for the most part, conditions will be typical for this time of year. There won't be many chances for rain until late in the weekend.
Seven Days of Summer Weather
He added that through midday, there will be a majority of clouds, with a few brief sun breaks. It will be less humid and cooler. The temperature high for the day is 78°F, with winds blowing eastward at 10mph.
Tonight, the skies will be partly cloudy and quiet. The temperature low will be at 61°F, with winds blowing eastward at 5mph.
Loew reports that On Thursday, there will be some warming and shifting clouds, and there may be a few isolated showers or thundershowers in the afternoon. The temperature high will be 83°F.
The southern region of the area this morning has a slight chance of a solitary shower or a few sprinkles. Through midday, the majority of locations will be mostly cloudy, but a few sun breaks should appear in the afternoon. Highs will range from the mid to upper-seventies. The temperature will be lower than it was yesterday, and the humidity level will be lower as well. The winds will be 10 mph and come from the east.
A weak cold front will be sweeping in from the north on Thursday. The central Wisconsin region will experience varying cloud cover as a result, and there is a possibility of sporadic showers or storms. It will be a little warmer with high temperatures in the low 80s, but there is not much chance of severe weather.

High pressure will arrive on Friday and Saturday, bringing with it weather that will be almost ideal for the middle of the summer. The weather will be mostly sunny with low humidity and temperatures that are close to average. The upper 70s to low 80s should be the highs for both days.
The remainder of Sunday also seems promising, WAOW reports. Although there will be a slight increase in clouds throughout the day and it will get a little warmer, there won't be any chances of rain until later in the day, possibly into the evening. At that time, a few thunderstorms might form, and they might linger into Monday as sporadic showers or storms. Late on Monday into early Tuesday, a cold front will move in from the north, cooling things off once more. The temperature will peak in the upper 70s on Tuesday after reaching highs in the low to mid-80s on Sunday and Monday.
Wisconsin Air Quality
Wisconsin has fair air quality, which is typically acceptable for most people. Long-term exposure may trigger symptoms for some people. Ozone at ground level can aggravate pre-existing respiratory conditions and also cause headaches, throat irritation, and chest pain, AccuWeather reports.
Weather History
On this date in 1893, a violent tornado killed 71 persons on its forty-mile track across northwestern Iowa. Forty-nine persons were killed around Pomeroy, where eighty percent of the buildings were destroyed, with most leveled to the ground, National Weather Service NOAA reports.
