The viral video below was originally shot by local resident, Alessandro Guerra, who claimed that the monkey was rioting across the town, allowing people to touch it, and even infiltrated their homes.

Guerra revealed the details to the local media, as cited by WION.

Guerra added that a number of people had already taken the knife by the hand.

Despite the vicious-looking simian, there were no immediate reports of any casualties from a monkey attack in the town.

The same footage was uploaded by the YouTube channel Science & Weird on Sunday, June 26. The channel stated that the monkey was carrying a jungle knife, which is almost as large as the primate, at a balcony in the town's shopping center.

In the recording, it was said the monkey was waving the knife to passers-by as if it was threatening them.

It was also seen sharpening its craft into the said concrete.

The channel cited Guerra, who said that the monkey has already damaged roofs when it has recently showed up with the knife.

The resident also said it was not intending to attack people, but enumerated that locals are divided on their stance toward the small yet ferocious monkey.
