Some lucky ones have hit the jackpot when it comes to entertainment.
Curious cat and social media star Jasper the Cat has been gifted an unusual aquarium, where you can see the colorful fish swimming 360 degrees underwater.
Curious cat enjoys the aquarium
According to Daily Mail, Jasper's owner Melissa Krieger was impressed when her fish provider was cleansing the tank.
Hoping to create a "mini SeaWorld" for her beloved Siamese, Krieger spent a walloping $2,500 to fashion a 125-gallon tank with see-through cube-formed indentation at the bottom.
The pair devised a plan to build a unique design so the intrigued feline could feel he's underwater too, wen the 53-year-old's fish supplier Jason Hering was cleaning the tank late last year, as per Good News Network.
"It's great to see him so happy because you've got to stimulate their brains. It's been worth the money," Krieger said.
"You spend that much on a TV and this is like a TV for cats. As soon as we feed the fish, he comes running. He's living the dream," she added via Upworthy.
According to Dailymail, Melissa said that Jasper and her other Siamese cat, Willow was a little afraid of trying to check the hatch at first, but last month Jasper challenged the unknown and now visits the aquarium every day.
Hering was laughing at Jasper as he looked at the aquarium, and she was inspired because he thought it would be fun to stick his head out.
The fish supplier liked the idea, so he asked the cat owner to do some drawings.
Just before Christmas, they replaced the old tank with a new one, but Jasper didn't use it much. At first, he was not impressed.
The 4 ft x 2.5 ft saltwater tank is home to several tropical fish, including the parrotfish so there is no shortage of visual delights for the cat.

Cat guru was impressed with the cat
As published by Upworthy, cat expert and cat behavior expert, Jackson Galaxy, was inspired to post a video of Jasper.
Galaxy is a well-renowned top resource for cat supplements, toys, and activity ideas.
Improving the environment is the key to your cat's happiness. Part of this reinforcement is visual stimulation, a fundamental but often overlooked aspect of the hunting process is tracking prey.
All cats have this instinct, and lack of an outlet can lead to serious behavioral problems, such as scratching furniture or not using a litter box, according to the cat guru.
People on the internet are also interested in aquarium design as in the viral video, Aquatics and Exotics, the company that made the innovative aquarium.
They might have an arrival of custom orders in their hands.
