Libya has been under the rule of Gaddafi for 40 years. That period unveiled a lot of atrocities the world has seen. It all came to an end in 2011 with the Libyan civil war.

Today, Libya has become a war ground between military forces and terrorist groups. The conflict is bringing Libya down day by day. It seems that everyone wants the bigger piece of the pie and they forgot about the future of their own country.

Libya can achieve progress in no time if the conflict is resolved and the fighting is stopped because it is very rich with resources.

Libyan people should put their country first and cast aside personal gains and interests if they want to be a happy and a great nation. Nations rise by science and knowledge neither by weapons nor bullets. There can be no progress without the real application of peace.

My message to the Libyan people is:

"Your country needs a stand. You need to stop the fighting and start thinking about what is good for you and for your country. Your future can be much greater than you can imagine if you only declare peace. Only through peace can you be a great nation".
