The world is filled with exciting travel destinations that are well worth visiting. Among the most intriguing options is the modern, fast-growing Dubai Marina. There are some very good reasons why you'll want to add this to your travel wish list.

Where Is Dubai Marina?

This is an area of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. It is built along a man-made canal that covers around three and a half miles of the Persian Gulf's shore. Dubai Marina is on Interchange 5, which is a well-connected area of the city and has been described as being at the heart of New Dubai.

Dubai Marina Tram Station offers convenient access to the area. You can connect with Dubai Metro that opened in 2009 to move around the rest of the city with ease. Once you arrive at the Marina, it is easy to stroll around on foot, while the tram gives a quicker method of getting around.

What Does It Offer?

This zone is packed with high-quality hotels, restaurants, and stores. All of this is presented in a dazzling setting with outstanding modern architecture and eye-catching details all around. A two- to four-hour walking tour here will show you the main attractions. However, you'll need more time than this to sample the delights on offer: from luxury shopping to speed boat tours, from a trip to the beach to lunch in a gourmet restaurant, this is a destination with broad appeal.

In terms of hotels, the Grosvenor House, Hilton Dubai The Walk, and InterContinental Dubai Marina are some of the big names. Meanwhile, the 82-story Ciel will be the planet's tallest hotel when it opens in 2023. It will include a glass observation deck, as well as a rooftop restaurant and pool. The Ritz-Carlton has one of the top restaurants in the zone, while Massimo's Italian Restaurant and Soul Restaurant and Bar also come highly recommended. Some of the best new places to eat here include the Spanish-themed Bebemos and the meat-filled Boho.

The public beach at Dubai Marina can get busy, as lots of people head down to sample the white sand and warm water, but it's still a treat not to be missed. In the evening, you could choose to finish off a perfect day by going on a sophisticated dinner cruise out on the water.

Why Is It So Popular?

The long list of attractions shows why so many tourists like to spend time here. However, it is also a massively popular residential area. Property portal Bayut conducted a report on Dubai real estate in 2018 and it showed that it was the most searched for area. With properties of all sizes and numbers of bedrooms, a large number of quality residential buildings, including the twisting Cayan Tower and more than 200 other state of the art residential towers, plus the huge range of attractions described above, this is hardly surprising.

Dubai Marina continues to grow and add even more attractions. More exciting plans are in progress that will see it become bigger and better in 2020.
