The Sydney Opera House lit up its sails on Saturday nighttime in a show of help for those heroic firefighters who have been battling fierce blazes across the country. The colorful show featured snapshots from photographers who have been shooting the fires which have been occurring for months. The message had a positive message, showing unique moments of solidarity that were captured on camera over the past three months.

CEO of the Sydney Opera House Louise Herron told the Sydney Morning Herald that everyone at the iconic site wanted to express their gratitude and support.

Herron said they lighted the Opera House sails to show their common guide for everybody laid low with these devastating fires. She added they wanted to express their special gratitude to the emergency offerings and volunteers for their exquisite efforts and courage.

"We want to send a message of wish and electricity to the people of Australia as tough circumstances retain," she said.

Even NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian posted a photo of the event on her official Twitter account and conveyed her gratitude to the hundreds of volunteers throughout the state.

The NSW RFS said the tribute and additionally had a special mention to the people, groups, and organizations involved in the efforts in containing the bushfire.

The Sydney Opera House group also intends to raise funds for fire-affected communities through a comedy gala. Comedy Steps Up will be hung on the steps and forecourt of the Sydney Opera House in March and will raise cash for Bushfire Relief. Joel Creasey, Kitty Flanagan, Urzila Carlson, and Tim Minchin are just several comedians that will appear on the gala performance. Proceeds from ticket sales would be donated to the NSW Rural Fire Service, WIRES, Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund, and Wildlife Victoria.

BUSHFIRE CRISIS

The venue combines a bunch of other famous Australians who are displaying solidarity with bushfire victims and firefighters.

A bushfire benefit concert would take place on February 26th at Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The Down To Earth - A Fire And Climate Relief Concert will feature exclusive performances from Gang Of Youths, Angus & Julia Stone, and Tash Sultana, among others.

The artists said in a statement that their hearts have been with all Australians impacted by using the devastating fires.

"Our hearts collectively go to the households who lost loved ones, the [firefighters] who continue to place their lives on the road, and the communities across Australia who are suffering," they said.

Queen and Adam Lambert also confirmed they are in negotiations to headline the Fire Fight Australia benefit concert in Sydney next month. The authentic Wiggles have also been reuniting to perform a one-off special occasion to elevate money for the Australian Red Cross and WIRES. Meanwhile, celebrities like Chris Hemsworth and Guy Sebastian are all supplying auctioning one-off events to donors.
