An "alien face" on Mars has been discovered by alien expert Scott Waring. The shocking finding was revealed after some eagle-eyed spectators claim to have seen a body of a dead woman on the Red Planet. According to Waring, the faces he came across with are spotted on photos taken by NASA's Curiosity Rover.
"I was looking at the NASA Curiosity Rover photos and found this face in one last night. Then this morning, I found two more of the same face. When you have one photo its nice, but when you have three, its 100% proof of something," he said on his blog.
"This face is the side view of an intelligent species. How do we know it's intelligent? It made this artwork or structure so it has a high intelligence," he added.
Waring went on to describe the features of the odd rocks. "The nose is long, but closer to the face. The cheeks are not fat, but seem muscular. The mouth has a smile on it -- a grimace. The chin is strong and powerful."
This is not the first time bizarre faces had been spotted on the Red Planet. In 1976, NASA's Viking 1 spacecraft has accidentally taken a photo of a shadowy face on the surface of Mars at the Martian region called Cydonia. In 2001 however, NASA claimed that the bizarre figure was just another Martian mesa --- landforms common around the American West, which is common enough around the Cydonia. They snapped photo of the same rock using a Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) image and it showed otherwise.
According to CNET, Curiosity captured the image on November 7. The rover is currently roaming around the base of Mount Sharp in the Gale Crater. It has been making amazing discoveries recently, including an egg-shaped metal meteorite, which the astronauts nicknamed "Egg Rock." It is estimated to be no larger than 1.6 inches (40 millimeters) wide.
