Top secret! Billionaire Elon Musk did it again, the king of 'Twitter suspense announcements' declared that he is pushing the revelation of Tesla's "surprise product" to the dismay of many.

But this move seems to be working for Musk as it intensified the anticipation while everyone is waiting for the announcement of what could be the new and surprising product offering from Tesla.

"Moving the Tesla announcement to Wednesday. Needs a few more days of refinement, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a Tweet.

This also means people will need to wait a little longer as Tesla performs last minute "refinement" on its new product. Last week, Tesla founder Elon Musk teased about the announcement of a new product originally set for Monday, Oct. 17. But the CEO decided to move the big reveal to Wednesday.

Tesla is an electric carmaker who also produce solar energy batteries such as the Powerwall and Powerpack. So chances are, the new product may also be related to its existing product catalog that wanted to eliminate the use of fossil fuel for energy.

However, it might also have something to do with the Autopilot 2.0, according to a report by Business Insider. Tesla cars have this autopilot or autonomous feature that have put Tesla both in the limelight and in the middle of investigations as one driver reportedly died in a car crash while using a Tesla model set to autopilot. Since then, the company has been improving its autopilot features although the company is also adamant in saying that Tesla autopilot is not the cause of such incidents.

One of the most recent updates is the autopilot Version 8.0 that supposed to improve the autonomous features of electric cars. Tesla also increased the price of its autopilot system to $3,000 from the normal $2,500 price.

The autopilot feature also helped Tesla cars dominate the electric car industry. Although it has received its own woes, Tesla is still reaping the benefits of introducing the autopilot features of Tesla cars.
