Our world is deteriorating and it is happening fast. Everyone in every part of the world can see it through extinction of certain species, mass deaths and even the natural catastrophes that our planet is experiencing at present. That is why more and more people are willing to become the voice of mother nature, and young people are no exemption.
In fact, a poll was recently conducted showing nine out of 10 people with ages of 16 to 34 years old want their government leaders to take a stand for the benefit of our nature now. These youngsters longed to create a change and they want their leaders to act on it the soonest.
The poll, which included 1,000 correspondents, also showed how two-thirds of the participants wanted to have a government that cares for nature. And that factor is what affects their voting decisions the most, as reported by Daily Mail.
The study, which was entitled "A Focus on Nature," was conducted primarily to let the government know about the youth's stand for nature. That is to push every member to become the youth's voice and be able to do things about the matter for a better future.
The senior editor of the study, Matt Williams, wanted every people to understand how fast nature's situation is getting worse, according to York Shire Post.
"We're lucky to have so much wonderful wildlife and amazing places in the UK but study after study has shown that we're losing nature at a faster rate than at any other time in recent history," said Matt Williams.
With the support of Sir David Attenborough, the first thing the campaigners want is for the Government to create a safer and better haven for the animals. They want at least 10 city national parks be built in UK to help every species especially those that are in the verge of extinction like lynx and beaver.
