Flood Risk Caused by Sea Level Rise Will Be 10 Times Higher for the Next 30 Years [STUDY]
An international team of researchers from Utrecht University, Deltares, and NIOZ, among others, devised a new method to calculate when we can expect an increase in flood probability in a specific area. The calculations show that within 30 years, the estimated probability of flooding will be 10 times higher in more than a quarter of the places studied.
