Geologic 'Clock' Shows Moon Formed Roughly 100 Million Years after Solar System's Birth
An international team of researchers has said that moon is around 4.47 billion years old. Researchers used a "geological clock" and found that the Earth's satellite formed roughly 100 million years after the birth of the solar system.
