Arctic and Drilling: Shell Will Cease Arctic Drilling
Shell has announced that it will cease oil/gas drilling in Alaska's Chukchi Sea, after finding that the initial well there did not hold sufficient reserves to be profitable. The company received permission to drill in the Arctic region in May.
