Deer-Vehicle Collisions Can Be Reduced Using Science, Say University of Georgia Researchers
Deer mate during the fall and move around more, increasesing the risk of life threatening deer-vehicle collisions. To address this increasing problem, researchers from the University of Georgia have developed a map that indicates where and when drivers are at a higher risk of hitting a deer in Georgia. Now researchers from other states are taking note of their methodology.
