Recent Decline of the Monarch Butterfly Linked to Climate Change
It seems like climate change is to blame once again for decline in population among species. Researchers from Michigan State University fear the 'precipitous decline' of the monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) in North America, as well as the possibility of its breeding range becoming inhospitable if global warming shall persist.
