New Green Pitviper from India Named by Scientists After a Character from Harry Potter
Scientists have recently honored the fictional world of Harry Potter. A team composed of researchers from India's National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bangalore as well as the Bombay Natural History Society discovered a new species of venomous green pit viper. They named the animal after one of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
