In the latest news reports from ABC News, a new study uncovered that an Australian garlic variety is helpful in reducing the possible infections of COVID-19 and influenza A based on the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity and Australian Garlic Producers.
The research is also a joint venture of the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the University of Melbourne.
The report explained that the researchers looked into the 20 garlic varieties and found a yet unnamed garlic variety that could address the infection of SARS-CoV-2 and other flu-related viruses in the body's digestive system.
