Light to moderate snow in the Northeast
According to the latest AccuWeather forecast this January 23, 2023, the weather agency reported that wintry showers are expected in the Northeast this week.
The rain and snow would not be strong enough to bring measurable snowfall in portions of the Northeast.
AccuWeather reported that snowfall would unfold in Cincinnati, Detroit, Pittsburg, Syracuse, Montreal, New York City (NYC), Boston, and Bangor.
- The forecast added that Maine, New York City, Northwestern Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Michigan residents could expect a high chance of snow.
- On the contrary, the forecast added that communities near the Interstate 95 would anticipate no snow to light this week.
- The report said that snowfall is expected in Indianapolis, Detroit, Pittsburg, Syracuse, and Bangor on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service (NWS) recent advisory said that NYC could look forward to scattered rain and snow on Monday.
