Mars Curiosity Rover Found Signs of 'Explosive' Volcanoes on Mars

A certain type of mineral called 'tridymite' was discovered on Gale's crater by the Curiosity Rover. The same material is also present on Earth near explosive mountains which, at first, are not believed to have existed on the red planet.
