The NWS weather forecast reported that a winter storm could develop over the Northwest US, including Great Basin and Northern Rockies. Homeowners should anticipate heavy snow and blizzard-like conditions.
Meanwhile, an anomalous warmth is expected in Southern Texas. People with travel plans should still keep updated with the weather for chances of rain and severe weather conditions.
Weather in Southern Texas
The latest NWS forecast showed that the anomalously warm temperatures could begin on the weekend and stay early next week in the US. Starting Monday, homeowners can expect the soaring temperatures reaching from 30 to 45 degrees as February ends.
The temperatures will be like spring in most parts of the country, particularly in the Midwest, Central Plains and Northern Plains. Homeowners should anticipate the 60s and 70s.
In addition, the warm conditions will be accompanied by gusty winds. The forecast warned of a Critical Risk of Fire Weather in the US. Over the East Coast, the warm weather is expected. Florida can anticipate 70s and 80s, while 70s and 70s in Carolinas.

The forecast added that the relative humidity could fall to 20 to 25%. The elevated fire risk is the main concern. In Houston City, the forecast noted that increasing clouds and gusty winds could unfold. Daily highs are also possible in the region.
