On Friday, residents can notice the rainy conditions in Montgomery, Atlanta and New Orleans. Mississippi Valley and Lower Ohio can also expect precipitation in the late week.
On the weekend, the rain is expected in the following areas:

- New Orleans
- Atlanta
- Charlotte
- Savannah
- Jacksonville
- Mobile
- Tallahassee
- Albany
- Columbus
- Gulfport
In New Orleans, the advisory warned of flash flood concerns in Baton Rouge LA, Prairieville LA and Gardere LA. The severe thunderstorm threat can spread over Port Allen LA, Addis LA and Brusly.
Weather in the Eastern US
In the Eastern US, the forecast showed that mild and unsettled weather conditions could unfold in December's first week. Light rain outlook is possible in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Ohio Valley and Appalachians.
On the Gulf Coast, residents can anticipate rain and thunderstorms.

On the weekend, the winter storm can threaten parts of Portland, Burlington, Barrie and Sudbury. In New York City, residents can anticipate rain showers, with temperatures reaching fro upper 40s and mid 50s. The light showers can be noticeable in the afternoon and evening.
Due to the rainy outlook in parts of the US, people should keep updated with the forecasts, and keep away from flooded areas.
